THE MOBILITY VECTORS OF SOLDIERS RECRUITED FROM THE RURAL MILIEU IN MOESIA INFERIOR (OR THRACIA). II. THE INSCRIPTIONS FROM DOMITIANUS
DOI:

Moesia Inferior, Thracia, mobility vectors, Roman army, estimated distancesAbstract
We continue an approach started in this journal. The main goal is the same like in the article concerning the inscriptions from Claudius to Titus: the mapping of the routes followed by these soldiers and calculating the distances covered, in order to better understand the mobility as a phenomenon in whole. We will present the epigraphic file chronologically, including both alae and cohortes in the same year or period. In the final, we will draw some conclusions on the periods of recruitment, on the periods of massive enlistments, on the most used destinations and the connection of these elements with historical events.
